PRP-F, also known as PRP Gel or Platelet-Rich Fibrin, is an advanced form of PRP that is
processed into a smooth gel-like consistency. It provides both volume and regenerative benefits, making it an excellent natural alternative to dermal fillers.While PRP focuses primarily on skin quality and healing, PRP-F adds structure and support. • Book your filler appointment at least 2 weeks before any special event, as swelling, redness, or bruising can occur.
• Avoid dental cleanings for 2 weeks before and dental procedures for 4 weeks before your treatment.
• To reduce bruising, stop aspirin, NSAIDs, herbal supplements, and blood-thinning vitamins 3–7 days before and after treatment (only with your physician’s approval).
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, smoking, and niacin for 24–48 hours before and after injections.
• Consider starting arnica or bromelain 2 days prior to help minimize bruising.
• Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores—preventive medication may be recommended.
• Treatment cannot be performed if you have an active infection, rash, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
