Before Your Microneedling Appointment:

Schedule at least two weeks before any special events to allow your skin or scalp to recover.
Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, or other strong skincare products 3–5 days before treatment.
Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 48 hours prior.
Avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements (aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, garlic, ginseng) 3–7 days before treatment—check with your physician first.
Do not have active acne, cold sores, rashes, or infections in the treatment area.
Pregnant or breastfeeding patients should obtain medical clearance before treatment.
If prone to cold sores, notify your provider; an antiviral may be prescribed.
Arrive with clean skin or scalp, free of makeup, hair products, or oil

Microneedling Appointment Day Instructions (Skin & Hair):

Arrive with clean skin or scalp — no makeup, lotions, oils, or hair products.
Hair should be washed and completely dry if receiving scalp or hair treatments.
Eat a light meal beforehand and stay hydrated.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications or supplements (aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, garlic, ginseng) unless approved by your provider to reduce bruising or bleeding.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing that won’t rub or irritate the treated area.
Remove jewelry or accessories near the treatment area.
Plan for minimal activity immediately after your appointment to allow redness or swelling to settle.
Bring any questions about post-care, maintenance, or PRP follow-ups for your provider.

After Your Microneedling Treatment:

Redness, sensitivity, or mild swelling is normal and usually lasts 24–48 hours.
Avoid makeup, hair products, or topical treatments for at least 24 hours (unless instructed otherwise).
Sun exposure should be minimized; always use broad-spectrum sunscreen once cleared to protect your skin or scalp.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for 24–48 hours to reduce irritation.
Do not pick or scratch the treated area.
Mild tightness or flaking may occur as your skin or scalp heals—this is normal.
PRP-specific: If PRP was applied, gently follow any massage instructions provided by your provider to maximize absorption and healing.
Results typically appear gradually over several weeks as collagen, elastin, and hair growth are stimulated.
Maintenance treatments may be recommended every 4–6 weeks depending on your goals.

Post-Microneedling Skincare Instructions:

Cleanse morning and evening with a gentle foaming cleanser.
Moisturize throughout the day to keep skin hydrated.
Resume your regular skincare routine after 3–5 days, or once your skin feels fully healed, no longer dry or tight.
Wait 5–7 days before reintroducing exfoliants, including retinol, glycolic acid, lactic acid, or salicylic acid.
These guidelines are especially helpful for dry or sensitive skin; those with oily or acne-prone skin should follow carefully to avoid irritation or breakouts.

• Temple or Crown only (small) $599

It’s common to experience redness, swelling and soreness immediately after treatment, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to return to work afterward. We recommend scheduling around your work schedule if you’re concerned about social downtime.
Results are typically noticeable within one week and continue to improve over time. When treating concerns such as melasma and deep lines or wrinkles, you may need several treatments before noticing results.
