If you like greens you will love this recipe. Kale is a staple in many Southern dishes and adds healthy nutrients to any meal. Eating your greens!
4 cups Kale
1/2 cup vegetable broth, chicken broth or water
6 cloves of garlic chopped
½ tsp red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons chopped onion
4 tablespoons lemon juice to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Place water or broth in a medium sized saucepan.
Add onion, garlic and spices to the water and simmer over low heat for one minute.
Add greens, cover, and cook for 20 minutes or to desired level of doneness.
Sprinkle with lemon and add salt and pepper to taste.
